Kohler’s Standby Home Generator – 14kW

The first thing that I am ordering is a Kohler 14 kW Standby Home Generator when I receive my tax refund check, which hopefully will find it’s way into my checking account in the next couple of weeks. I have not only been wanting but really needing a good Standby Home Generator. And I recently found such a good deal on one online at Generators AtoZ, which is a company that doesn’t charge a fee for shipping and handling, which would have broken the bank with this heavy quality home standby generator that I’m totally excited about finally owning.

There have been more and more energy outages these past few years, all year round. I remember when we first moved here, the first winter we lost power for eight long days, just a few days after celebrating our first Christmas in our new house. That was a miserably long week to deal with with no power to run anything. So the time has come to finally own my own brand new standby generator. Thanks to you Uncle Sam.

Spring Cleaning

With spring coming up soon, I have to prepare for the spring cleaning that my place so desperately is in need of. I’m going to stop at the Dollar Tree Store and pick up a good supply of cleaning materials at $1 a piece, with money so tight the Dollar Tree is getting a lot of business these days. There are some good deals at these Dollar Stores but there are plenty of bad deals as well, but as far as cleaning products go they get my business on that stuff.

C-Reactive Protein Blood Testing

Being as both sets of parents are aging quicker than anyone of us would like them to and health issues, doctors, medicines and tests seem to be the highlight of every conversation that is held with any of them at any time, I am learning more than I ever thought I would want or need to know about a variety of health related subjects and issues.

I thought that I was pretty knowledgeable about heart attacks and strokes since we have lost so many friends and relatives to both. But when my step mother was talking about this C-Reactive Protein blood test that she had just had blood drawn for I decided that I should do a little research about this particular blood test online. Knowledge is power and it doesn’t look like things will be settling down around here for some time.

Up and Coming Surgery

I never know what my sister is going to be talking about, she always keeps me on my toes and today was no different. She called me to tell me that one of our sister-in-laws is having surgery next week, the surgery being for a Labia minora reduction, which is an area that I have to admit to not having much knowledge on, what so ever. My sister, on the other hand, has taken to the Internet to educate herself, and apparently many other family members, on this health concern that surgery can take care of, with today’s technology and surgical skills.

Our sister-in-law is having this surgery by The Atlanta Vaginal Rejuvenation & Cosmetic Surgery Center, and she provided my sister with the like to their website in order for her get all the information one would ever need on this somewhat “sensitive” issue. Of course I am now privy to the site and I did take a few minutes to read over their credentials and surgeries that they are offering, for health and cosmetic reasons. In our family’s case, the effects of having so many children has made for this to become a need and I’m glad that she is receiving good quality service and hopefully it will all be done and over with in no time.

Direct TV For Me

My oldest sister is trying to convince me to switch from cable tv to a satellite tv company. We have had cable tv here at the farm since pay tv came into existence so it has never been a concern to change to anything else. But there is apparently a referral program that direct tv offers that both of us would end up getting a chunk of  credits from if I was to switch over and that sounds good to me. And my sister is used to getting her way, sigh……

I found a website that shows you the different tv pricing offers, which was enlightening to read over. It’s amazing how the Internet has made tasks like this one a much easier one to tackle. It beats the heck out of calling around and getting the information on the phone and all that goes along with that process of elimination.

I do like the sports channels and the sports packages that are being offer by www.dx3.net. With football season once again coming in just a few short months, I do plan on taking some time in the evening when all of the work is done around here and watching a good amount of football. I just wish that I had a BIG SCREEN TV like a lot of people have now a days I’d be totally set with dx3 direct tv then.
