Breast Reductions

I’ve been reading and hearing that people are leaving the United States, seeking more affordable medical attention. Mexico is becoming a ”hot spot” for dentistry and people are flocking over the border to many eager, yet qualified dentists and other oral specialties and saving a ton of money. All the while, all types of cosmetic surgeries are being performed over in Europe at a much cheaper price than found here in America.

A good friend and co-worker of mine is looking into getting a breast reduction done and has turned to the Internet and found Free Surgery Advice concerning traveling abroad and having this procedure done for her. She has been dealing with overly large breasts since her early teens and has had enough and is seriously researching her options. Her health is being  jeopardized at this point in her life, I’m proud of her for finally taking some action that will provide her some relief that she is so desperately seeking, health wise and emotional wise as well.

Unique Loft Beds

The first thing I am going to do when I get my tax refund check, which should be showing up in my mailbox any day now, is this really cool looking loft bed to put in the spare room that we have been trying to fix up to use for numerous reasons and occasions. It’s a Twin/Twin Convertible Loft Bed in Cappuccino Finish – Coaster that I found online some time ago and have been drooling over ever since.

I have always loved the idea of and the look of Loft Beds and I can’t wait to finally own one. One that is very unique and will serve us in several ways. Man I wish my check would get her soon, I can’t stand the anticipation and what if by the time the money gets here this particular loft is available anymore, sigh…..

A Man Thing

An older friend of mine is convinced that this new little blue pill is a gift from heaven! He’s in his mid to late 60′s now but he still looks younger then 50!  Anyway, he’s been telling me that since he started taking his little “get-it-up” magic pill that he hasn’t had a problem keeping his pride up for several hours at a time. I couldn’t help myself but laugh a bit, because I told him that I never knew he could even stay awake that long, least of all keep some poor woman entertained for that amount of time.

Safes

Many, many years ago my step father gave me his very well built and extremely heavy safe and my hubby was happy to take it off his hands. After my step father passed away we assumed that we would keep this wonderful safe and it has stayed in the garage ever since, where hubby keeps a lot of his important papers and family heirlooms and various other treasures that he wants to keep safe. Last week I got a phone call from my kid brother informing me that our mother has given him permission to come over and pick this particular safe up from our place to bring back to his house to use. I am not happy with this phone call at all. My step father gave it to us, not lent it to us and we have been depending on it and using it for all this time with no thought of ever having to replace it.

I was looking around online trying see what types of safes are out there these days and how much they are running. I was hoping that I could find a good safe the same size with the same inside drawers and compartments. This is the only one that I seem to be able to find and it is almost a thousand dollars, well actually with tax it will certainly run over the one thousand dollar mark. Ouch!!!!

Coconuts

When I saw this wall poster on Facebook I actually laughed out loud. It reminded me of the song that we used to sing as kids called “I’ve got a loverly bunch of coconuts” and now I can’t seem to get that darned song out of my mind but at least it’s a good upbeat song instead of some of the more depressing songs that tend to linger in my mind for so long.
