It looks like it might be a good idea to go ahead and seriously look into having a home energy audit done on my parent’s house right now before it gets much hotter out and they end up having to pay such extremely high electric bills again like they did last summer from using their central air conditioner. After all their house is over 55 years old and it really needs a lot of work that my dad just isn’t up to considering  he is now in his mid 70′s. He isn’t a spring chicken any more and is having health issues as most people do when they get up in that age group.

My kid brother has suggested  going online and finding and then hiring one of the local home insulation contractors come over and do the Home energy audit and he is even willing to pay for it, which threw me for a loop considering how cheap my little brother can be. I guess he would rather pay someone to do the energy audit than pitch in and do some manual labor in order to get the house up to speed. But as long as it gets done, I don’t really care how it is handles.

One of the major concerns with folks these days is the issue of stress. Each one of us has been affected by this economical mess that President Obama is trying so desperately to fix. It’s all about the all mighty dollar, it is making people crazy with grief, despair and total stress.
