My mom’s best friend, Aunt Evelyn, retired and moved to Tampa, Florida a couple of years ago, but we still keep in touch with emails and Facebook and even a phone call once in a while. She is not very comfortable using the internet and doesn’t really like emails, which is why I was surprised to get an email from her this morning about her search for a new or nearly new car. She told me about a Tampa used cars website that she found, http://www.parkautomall.com.  and asked me to check it out for her. She said that the deal found was too good to be true, and when something is too good to be true that it usually means that it is not true. So, she is nervous about this site, but it looks totally legitimate.

Aunt Evelyn has always driven a Cadillac for as long as I can remember. Her first husband was a car salesman for a Cadillac dealer and he bought her first Cadillac for her when their first son was born. He liked to live large, and once she had driven a Cadillac, nothing else could ever measure us for her. Even after their divorce, she kept that car and drove it for 20 years. When she finally decided she wanted a new car, she bought a new Cadillac for herself to replace it because she was working a good job and could afford it.

The Cadillac she found for sale this time in Tampa Bay is a 2002 DeVille, which is perfect for her. They are only asking $10,000, which she just can’t believe they are selling it for such a low price.She read the specifications on their site and tells me this used car dealership even has used car video testimonials on their web site.

She wants to sign up right away for Credit Approval and then go buy this Caddy this week before someone else gets it. I think the car looks sharp, but she should get a good warranty and make sure it is mechanically sound before she agrees to buy it.
