So Young and Innocent
I keep forgetting that my niece is only 11 years old and that there is so much that she doesn’t know that I just assume she knows. Like we were driving by the apartment complex that we always pass on the way to take her home from spending the night at my place last night, when she asked me what these pieces of equipment were that look much like the photo below.
When I told her that they were cluster mailboxes, she looked at me like I had come from some alien planet. It was hard to keep from losing myself in laughter, since I was behind the wheel and driving on a pretty busy street at the time. Bless her heart, she just couldn’t picture in her head that the people’s mail that lived in those apartments were placed in these types of mailboxes. Oh to be so young and innocent again…….
