Safe and Secure Mailboxes
The subject of secure mailboxes came up at dinner again last night. This is a subject that seems to keep popping up more and more and it appears that I just might have to start looking at locking mailboxes here real soon. Every now and then a neighbor will complain of someone vandalizing or worse yet stealing out of their mailbox and with the ever growing threat of Identity Theft these days, this just leaves all of us a bit unsettled.
I really love our current mailbox, my kid brother made it in his shop class and gave it to me for my high school graduation gift, which really touched my heart. He is my favorite of all of my brothers, and I have six of them, so replacing this special gift for a bigger and better safe and secure mailbox just isn’t going to be easy. Which is why I keep putting off buying one.
