My bedroom needs some work, bit time. I haven’t done anything to it since I moved into the place and I’m tired of looking at the same bedroom furniture that I grew up with and was fortunate enough to be able to take it with me when I left home. But that was some time ago and I really need something a bit more my style these days.
I’ve been looking around online lately to get some ideas and have found a really cool looking iron headboard that I’d enjoy owning and could certainly work around it with other items that I come up with. I’ve also found and fell in love with the most beautiful romantic bedding selection by using the useful website of become.com. Isn’t it wonderful?

I even like their selection of the accent pillows that they have used in this shot. Looks like I’m on my way to one nice make over, it’s all good! Maybe when I’m all done with the bedroom I can start working on the bathroom, that needs some work as well, sigh…

My tomatoes are finally coming in like crazy in the backyard garden. I have a few cucumbers, an eggplant and a few green beans as well. The season started out with a lot of rain, then it just decided to dry out, big time and I was worried about the garden, but it has rained here and there the past week and the garden is doing fine. Soon I’ll have squash and peppers as well.

I really like the idea of having good quality merchandise and the receiving of good quality services when I decide to spend my hard earned money. I’ve been in customer service for a long time and if I have to provide good customer service each and every day then I expect nothing less than the best in return. I’m the first to complain to a supervisor or manager if I find the need, but then I also don’t mind giving a pat on the back when I feel it appropriate. If I feel that someone has done a better than average job then I believe that needs to be acknowledged as well.
Earlier today I contacted our local San Antonio home security provider and talked with one of the most pleasant ladies that I’ve had the pleasure of talking with in a very long time. She was cheerful, polite, patient and very knowledgeable about the services that they have to offer. I want to have a good security system installed here at home and have heard good things about ADT. I’m glad that I called and was treated with as much respect as this particular lady gave me. I’m seriously considering going with ADT, just want to make sure I dot all my I’s and cross all of my T’s before making a commitment. But so far ADT has all that I need, it’s all good!

I have heard so much about the new energy efficient windows that are being offered by Sears are a great way to reduce the use of our precious energy supple and a great way to save money on the utility bills that come no matter what each and every month. Not only do they save energy but they will increase the value of your home as well, a win, win situation as I see it. It’s all about the money! And with the new $1,500 Stimulus Package Tax Credit from our new administration with President Obama, now is the time to take advantage of all of this.
Of course I do most of my researching and shopping online these days, like so many of us are doing, so I was pleased to find all that I needed about these wonderful replacement windows using the good old Internet! Sears is a very well established business that is known for their customer service and the commitment to quality home improvements and so much more to offer people that what their retail stores have to offer. I’ve had a Sears charge account since day one and count on them each time I turn to them for their services.
I’ve now got their toll free number and am going to contact them for a consultation and find out their replacement window cost and see about getting my place taken care of with their window experts. 1-877-275-4193 in case you’d like to contact them as well.

During some of my late spring cleaning attempts, I was down in the basement going through some boxes that have been down there for quite some time. So long that I had forgot what was all in the darn things. Much to my surprise I found that I had stored a hummingbird feeder that my grandmother had given to me years ago when I moved out on my own. It’s a real pretty red glass hummingbird feeder, I can’t believe that I had forgotten all about it for goodness sakes.
So I promptly got busy with giving it a good washing, went to Wal Mart and bought some of the hummingbird nectar that they are attracted to and love to suck down and found the perfect spot to hang it out back. I can see it from the kitchen window and can’t wait for the hummingbirds to come a running. My sister has a bunch that have been coming to her place for a few weeks now, so I know that this is the time of the year for them to make an appearance.

I found this picture of a Ruby Throated Hummingbird at birdfeeders.com, they have a wonderful online library worth checking out with plenty of pictures to gaze at and familiarize yourself with.
