My bedroom needs some work, bit time. I haven’t done anything to it since I moved into the place and I’m tired of looking at the same bedroom furniture that I grew up with and was fortunate enough to be able to take it with me when I left home. But that was some time ago and I really need something a bit more my style these days.
I’ve been looking around online lately to get some ideas and have found a really cool looking iron headboard that I’d enjoy owning and could certainly work around it with other items that I come up with. I’ve also found and fell in love with the most beautiful romantic bedding selection by using the useful website of become.com. Isn’t it wonderful?

I even like their selection of the accent pillows that they have used in this shot. Looks like I’m on my way to one nice make over, it’s all good! Maybe when I’m all done with the bedroom I can start working on the bathroom, that needs some work as well, sigh…

Hard to believe that before the 1970’s came around people didn’t have the availability of the customized t-shirts that we take for granted these days. First came the bumper stickers and then the t-shirts with all the cute and witty sayings printed on them for us to express ourselves and our thoughts with. I can’t imagine life without these every day items and I’m always on the look out for new and exciting t-shirts to sport.
My sister is always looking for ways to make a statement and has turned to the Internet to find a custom t-shirt printing company that will print some of her designs that she has put together these past few years. She has been referred to Indigoclothing.com, they have a great reputation for having a staff of dedicated individuals that love the concept of customized clothing. She has been told of their discount prices and their easy to use website so she has shared their website with me to check out as well. We seem to do that to each other from time to time, it is always wise to get a second opinion on things and we are pretty good about bouncing things off of each other for each other.

I’m finding myself putting on a bit of weight these days, sigh…… I’m blaming it on middle age. My clothes just aren’t fitting the way that they used to and I’m now in the market to find some new fashions for the up and coming cold winter months. I don’t particularly care to go the mall looking for new clothes, the mall is such a drag these past few years. All kinds of sleaze balls hang out there and have been driving business away with all of their crude and rude behavior. I wish that the mall would start banning some of these hooligans so that families would feel more comfortable shopping there once again. What a waste.
Since the mall is out and I’ve discovered the bargains that are available online I’ve been checking out the latest fall fashions that are just now coming out. There are great deals to be made by utilizing all that the Internet has to offer and I can shop so much easier, less hassle, less money, less time and way more convenient all the way around. Gotta love it!

I went to a most beautiful wedding last Friday evening. The bride (an old school friend from way back) was beautiful, the groom was drop dead gorgeous, and the bridal party was decked out most eloquently and beautifully. I had realized that I hadn’t been to a wedding in over a decade, so it was nice to attend one and see how these events are all put together and be able to enjoy all the formalities as well as the festivities that go along with a nice formal wedding these days.
The bride had and used very good taste for this entire affair, in my opinion. She was very proud of their choice of tacori engagement rings, by JR Dunn, that they had picked out and purchased two years ago when their engagement was formally announced. And the wedding bands that they exchanged that day (by JR Dunn) were fabulous, I have to say that I’m impressed. She utilized JR Dunn’s work, who is an authorized Tacoi Jeweler all throughout the event. I’ve placed a picture below of the Sterling Silver Chokers that all the bridesmaid and maid of honor were adorned with and I’m sure will treasure for years to come.
Shortly after they had exchanged their vows, fireworks starting going off for the 4th of July celebration that was taking place in the city park right behind the church. What an awesome feature that really set the mood for the reception that was scheduled to start soon after everyone was done gazing at the show in that warm night’s cloudless sky. Now as for the reception, I’ll leave that story for another time!
