I love Memorial Day. It’s the one day each year that America recognizes the sacrifice and contributions to our freedom by the men and women who served in the military.

I think anyone who serves our country and fights for freedom is a very special person and deserves a lot more than just one day a year as a holiday. They deserve special recognition in our daily lives, too.

Sometimes a girl needs to do something nice for herself. So this is what I’m doing nice for me – writing a blog.
