Well, no one has called about losing a kitten. I don’t understand it. I put up fliers all over the neighborhood and at the gas station and the grocery store.
This kitten is healthy and adorable and only about 6 weeks old. How can someone not miss a little kitten like this? If it was mine I would be frantic and doing everything I could to find her and get her back.
Well, I don’t know about other people, but I can’t just call the pound and have them come get here and then not know if she ever finds a good home or gets put to death in a couple weeks. So I’m going to keep her and I called my vet to have her seen. I know kittens need a certain number of shots and things from the vet, so I’ll pay for the vet visit and after that I guess she’s mine to keep.

Well I put out some posters about finding this kitten. I wasn’t real happy with the idea of putting my cell phone number on posters tacked up all over the neighborhood, so the condo manager said I could put his office number on the poster and if anyone calls about the kitten he will call me to let me know and hook us up.
My cat is still acting very aloof but at least they are not fighting or having issues. The kitten wants to play and keeps trying to make friends with my cat. She is so cute! Here she is out in the courtyard:

I found a little kitten under my car this morning. It was just hiding under there and it wouldn’t come out. It just hid and cried and it really upset me to think that maybe it was hurt. Plus I didn’t want to start up my car and run over it. So I just stayed with it and kept talking to it and trying to get it to come out from under my car. Finally it came out and let me pick it up. It didn’t seem to be hurt or sick or anything. I went ahead and took it into my condo and gave it some water and offered it some of my cat food but she didn’t seem to want it. She was more interested in my cat. But my cat was totally aloof and acted like the kitten wasn’t even there. It was so funny!
I guess I will make a little poster saying that I found a kitten and put it up around the condos and maybe the local market to see if someone lost their kitten. If they did lose her, I’m sure they will want to come get her back.
