This year we are going out of town for Thanksgiving. We are driving to Virginia tonight and will be gone for the entire long weekend. Looking forward to someone else cooking a turkey and handling a big gathering.

There are a lot of people in my life who celebrate birthdays in November. Today is SHB’s birthday. He’s almost 60, and is living proof that “only the good die young.”

Isn’t this hilarious!?! A friend sent it to my email and I just had to share it.

I wish I had thought of this. You can bet next time I fix chicken wings there will be an erotic touch to the plate!

What an historical night for America. Our first black President. What tremendous advances our culture has made in the past 40 years. From racial riots and forced busing in the 1960’s to a black President. Imagine that! These are certainly exciting times for America.
