For some reason every time we go out to eat, people order either a coke or sweet tea. I don’t know why they want to drink something so sweet with their lunch or dinner. To me, something sweet takes away my appetite and kind of spoils the taste of the food. I would rather drink water with my meals and I can’t help thinking that maybe my teeth appreciate the self restraint from so much sweet stuff, too.

The body needs lots of water to keep your insides working right and to even help keep your skin from getting dried out and wrinkled. I love a tall cold glass of water, and it’s nice to sometimes have a slice of lemon floating on top of the ice cubes.

Credit and Debit cards are becoming a way in life these days. It is unfortunate that so many have gotten sucked into financial trouble and have to rely on these valuable pieces of plastic to keep their heads above water. I have managed to pay off most of my credit cards but refuse to cut them up in fear that I will need to use them at some point.

It is good to know that there are prepaid debit cards available to use that allow you to use a direct deposit that can entitled you not to receive the weekly fee that is attached to their use. I do have to say that if I were to have to under go treatment such as alcohol rehab or cocaine rehab, I would like it to take place in such a place such as Seasons in Malibu has to offer. When most people think of a treatment center they imagine a very sterile, hospital like environment, which is indeed available in many places, but it’s nice to know that there are other options that are more appealing, much like what was seen on Dr. Drew’s Celebrity Rehab television series that was popular on VH1 last season.

It is most unfortunate that alcohol and drug abuse is on the rise big time, I have several friends that have been experiencing some major financial issues and see them tuning more and more to these possible addictions and it really worries me. With the recent death of Michael Jackson, that is still being blamed on an over dose of pain medicine, it has been a wake up call for many who are headed down that same road. Well it seems that since my parents have had their ADT Security System installed and now have one of their (ADT) signs placed in their front yard, that several neighbors have expressed an interest in contacting ADT Security and having them install one of their Home Security Systems in their homes as well. So my parents have had to give out ADT’s toll free number and website address in order to keep their neighbors happy and safe.

Their neighborhood is going to completely dotted with ADT’s signs and stickers, which is a good thing. Home Security is a big issue these days and hopefully any would be thieves will take note of these signs and stay well away from the place. So far there hasn’t been much criminal activity close by and I’d hate see anything happen to any of them.

ADT has been around for a good long time and I expect that they will be around for some time to come.
