Researching A New Puppy

My boyfriend and I have been thinking about getting a puppy and making it part of the family. I had talked to my brother in-law about it and he told me to make sure it a safe breeder puppy, which I wasn’t completely clear on how to do what he was talking about, but when I asked him, he told me to go onto the Internet and to Google the words puppy mills and read up on the subject.

So I did and I found that you can learn so much about what you can look for, and what kind of things you should find out before you go to the store and see a cute puppy, purchase it and walk out. You can save hundreds, maybe even thousands of dollars just by taking the time to do a bit of research, and of course with the Internet it can’t get much easier than that.

The Best Sea Ray Both Covers On The Market

My father is soon going to be celebrating his 70th birthday. He is always one of the hardest people to buy gifts for each year for Christmas, Father’s Day, his birthday as well as my parents wedding anniversary. Four times a year I struggle trying to find something that he will enjoy, appreciate and use. He has had 70 years to gather just about everything that he needs or wants, so it makes it a challenge for all of us to get him gifts. For Christmas we (my siblings) all found something that we thought would “float his boat” as they say and got him the best of the Sea Ray boat covers that are on the market. And he did indeed seem thrilled with our purchase 100%.

With the thought in min that my parents have always been animal lovers. I grew up in a house that always had numerous animals living inside and out, it was interesting, entertaining and educational for us all. My father really enjoys all the birds that come into the yard and has several bird houses located in various locations throughout the yard. So I thought that cameras for birds would be a neat idea for him so that he could see up close and personal what his feathered friends are up to any time he wants.

I went online and found a great site that has a cool wireless bird camera that he could set up real easy like. This particular bird nest camera is affordable enough that I don’t need to ask any of my brothers or sisters if they want to pitch with me and there is no shipping or handling charges involved.  Today I’ve placed my order and can’t wait to see his face when he discovers that he will have a new bird house camera that he hopefully can really get into. I’m ordering it in plenty of time in case there is a problem of any type that can be fixed or changed, so I don’t have to worry about it getting here in time. His birthday isn’t until the first week of April, so it should all work out great! I feel good about this year’s birthday present which is a nice change from what I’m used to dealing with.

Fowl Play

At this morning’s networking meeting the talk was all about the county fair that is scheduled to start next week. I have never attended the county fair because I really don’t like large crowds in the middle of the hot summer months and our county fair now attracts something like over 60 thousand people from start to finish.

One of the member’s was saying that he was surprised last year to find how many Chicken Breeds there are out there these days. I have to say that I really don’t know all that much about chickens but I’ve seem my fair share throughout the years. And I know that there really are a tons of varieties that have been breeding and end up at county fairs all across the country as well as all across the world. A good part of the world rely on all that a chicken has to offer as far as food goes. But I really don’t want to go in that direction right now.

I guess this really is leading up to another member speaking up about his recent endeavor of breeding and raising ducks. He now has plenty of Ducks for Sale and was hoping to find someone at this meeting that would either Buy Ducks or know of someone who would be interested in buying his Ducks. It just freaked me out that this networking meeting that is supposed to be about professional people and here we ended up mainly talking about Chickens and Ducks and the county fair!

Camp Bow Wow

For many pet owners a Dog Day Care is a good solution for them in their time(s) of need, when they are not able to tend to and take care of their dogs in many situations that come into play in their busy lives. I have a friend who is interested in starting a dog day care, training and boarding company and has found an interesting website that she shared with me concerning this type of business at Campbowwowusa.com. They are offering franchise opportunities that she is so excited about and I’m thrilled to hear that she is really going to have a shot at a career that she feels so passionate about.

As long as I have ever known her, she has always had a house full of critters, with dogs being her favorite house hold pet. She has spent a good amount of her free time helping friends and neighbors with their dogs, as far as walking, grooming, training and boarding goes. So I’m glad to see that she might be able to make this type of effort and receive money for her work and time that she has put into her love of our four legged friends. You go girlfriend!
