My brother is moving in with us to go to graduate school. I am so excited to have him here! The kids adore their uncle, and I have missed him while he was living 2 hours away for college. We have an in-law suite that is detached from the house, so really it will be like his own little apartment. It is really small, though, and there’s not a kitchen or anything. Just a bedroom, a bathroom, and a closet. I’m getting it all set up and cleaned for him. We had been using it basically as a storage unit, so things need to be moved out, cleaned, and dusted. I am happy to do it, though. I’m also looking into the DIRECT TV Packages available right now, to see if that is something he might want out there. I don’t know how much time he will be studying, or at the library, or whatnot, so I’ll definitely talk to him before signing up for anything like tv. It is going to be so nice having him here.

My sister has told me about a cool way to earn money, and money is a huge deal these days for the majority of people that I know and love, by signing up up with Mission Tuition at Missiontuition.com. At this website they have tons of participating merchants that deposit money directly into your kids savings account to help pay for their college expenses when you purchase their products or services through this website.
It is never too soon to start saving money to pay for your kids education. The cost of college is rising each and every year, I really don’t know how most people do it. My daughter is only in the 8th grade and they are really pushing these kids into seriously thinking about what they want to be “when they grow up” and what types of courses they will need to take in order to get to where they want to be when that time comes. I don’t know about the rest of the kids in her class but my daughter has no idea what she wants to do with the rest of her life, my goodness she still plays with Barbies some times with some of her friends when they come over. But if there is a way for me to start saving to pay for her education right now I might as well jump on it. I’m going to check out this site a bit more and let you know what I find out and what I decide on.

I’ve always wanted to go back to school and further my education. It’s too bad that I didn’t take advantage and appreciate what my high school teachers were trying to teach me back then. The old saying that “Youth is wasted on the young” certainly comes to mind. I have found myself very interested in history these past few years. I love reading history based novels and they really have spiked my interest in the past big time. If nothing else I’d love to take some college courses just to learn for the sake of learning. But school takes money and money is a big issue right now with me and just about everyone else.
I could take advantage of some of the debt consolidation services that are being widely advertised and used by so many during these trying economic times. I found that Consolidatedcredit.org is a one stop debt solution center and have helped numerous students with their educational costs. They have an interesting debt consolidation guide for people just like me that can’t afford to dish out all that it takes to go back to college. I found it interesting that 79% of college students have credit cards and that 32% have four or more cards in their names. That is a lot of credit cards for these young students.
I’ll have to start looking and digging a bit deeper into going back to school. I really think that I’d enjoy it and it would be a challenge worth while for me to attempt.
