Coupons for Iams

One year ago my daughter and I traveled a good long distance to pick up her “dream dog” a Pug, a little male puppy that she named Scooter. On the way down we stopped at the local pet store to buy all the things that one needs when getting a new puppy. A new collar, leash, food and water bowls, toys, treats and of course puppy food. Now I haven’t had a puppy in a very long time and back then there wasn’t such a huge variety of pet foods on the market as there are these days. My goodness there are now a whole heck of a lot of them out there, the pet store we went to actually has four whole aisles just for the different types of  foods for our canine friends.

So as we were walking up and down the many dog food aisles, we must have really looking confused because there was a very nice friendly man there that struck up a conversation with us about our new puppy. He was asking what type of dog we were getting, what his name was going to be, stuff like that. And then he asked if we knew what type of puppy food we were going to purchase for the puppy. Before long we were very well educated on what type was best for our wants and needs, and with the puppy’s best interest at heart.

It turns out that he was a sales rep for the iams brand of pet food and he gave us a coupon for a free bag of the iams food that we had all agreed on, which was very generous of him. If I remember correctly that bag of food would have cost me about $15 and I got it for free. I like free. And if I can’t have free I make sure that I don’t pay full price for anything. I’m getting good at finding coupons online instead of just using the paper coupons that come in the newspaper each Sunday. In only a matter of minutes I can generally find a coupon and save on iams products that I always appreciate and use on a daily basis.

I really love that our Pug Scooter is a small dog and will never eat us out of house and home and cleaning up after him when he has an accident is minor compared to the messes I was used to when I had large dogs back in the day.
