When my daughter showed me the gorgeous picture(s) on the home site at  http://www.housesforsaleincalgary.com I quickly found myself in love with the picturesque scenery so much so that I just had to take a few moments and look around for more information. Taking over my daughter’s laptop for a while and listened to her teenage whining that can drive most parents right up the wall.

All I could find that was the statement “Houses For Sale in Calgary” so it took a bit of clicking around and utilizing Google Maps to find out just where is this beautiful place is in Canada, a place that we refer as The Great White North. Come to find out that it is in the south-eastern part of Canada in the Alberta Provence, which a beautiful part of Canada. So I can totally understand how and why these photos are so brilliant and inviting.

I have never had to pleasure of leaving the United States of American except for one quick day long trip to Tijuana Mexico that still haunts me even though it’s been over 10 years ago since that trip. But that story is for another time. One day I would love to take a trip up there. It will have to be during their warm weather season, I can tell you that much right now!

My younger brother came to visit me from West Virginia and was so eager to see him after so long. I hadn’t seen him for about 2 years and so many things had changed since. The one thing that hasn’t and hopefully will never change is my yougest brothers love for music. He has been an aspiring musician ever since he learned how to play guitar in the forth grade.

Oh girlfriend, it was nice to chat with you online this morning. But really bummed me out to hear about the trouble your brother had over the weekend. Don’t want to bust you out in my blog, so I won’t go into the details but want to share some thoughts with you.

While working for the law firm downtown, I learned a few things that I want to share with everyone who reads my blog.

First off, DO NOT EVER go to court and represent yourself. GET A GOOD LAWYER! The prosecuting attorney and the judge will eat you up if you try to go it alone!

Second, find a GOOD LAWYER who specializes in the type of case with which you need help. A DWI lawyer is not the best resource for a divorce. A personal injury attorney is not the best way to stay out of jail if you have a criminal charge to face. Etc.

I know of a DWI attorney in the Raleigh NC area who might help your brother, Mark T. McCullough, who is well known for being a good DWI lawyer. He has a good website with contact info. If you need a good DWI Raleigh NC lawyer, you should at least talk to him and hear what he has to say.

After looking at the cigar magazine ipad that my sister had me look at we have decided to purchase our father some nice cigars and give him a subscription to this particular cigar magazine for Father’s Day. We stopped buying him cigars as presents a few years ago, but it looks like he has made up his mind to continue smoking his precious cigars, so we might as well buy him some nice ones once in a while to enjoy.

While on the subject of yummy foods, I have to tell you that the cheese and mushroom stuffed chicken that I made last night (under protest, mind you) turned out really great. I don’t normally like anything to do with mushrooms, although I have found a few recipes that I have been able to stomach along the way. So when my mother sent me the recipe that she found online for this cheese and mushroom stuffed chicken on the Sargento Foods website, I wasn’t all that excited about trying it. Now that I have tried it, now I have to confess to my mother that she was right, something that I don’t enjoy doing, but alas I must.

I have always enjoyed the cheeses made by Sargento and their italian cheese really makes a difference in this recipe. I do believe that the strong taste of the italian cheese helps mask the taste of the fresh mushrooms that are included in this stuffed chicken recipe. I think that I will check out their website as well and see if there is something else there to offer that I might be able to cook up and serve one night. Eating the same old same old gets tiresome doesn’t it?
