One of my all time favorite fairy tales is Cinderella. I could watch that movie over and over again and never get tired of it. My niece told me that last year in her English class that they were given numerous variations of the classic tale of Cinderella to read and she was amazed (and I as well) at how this nouveau riche  (newly rich) story has changed through out the years and is told in so many different languages these days.

Cinderella is considered a nouveau riche story due to that fact that Cinderella came from such rags and came into riches when her prince finally came and rescued her from her evil step mother and crazy step sisters. From rags to riches, such a classic. My niece had never heard the phrase “nouveau riche”, which didn’t surprise me. It really isn’t a term used much these days. So she was grateful for the Internet and Wikipedia to enlighten her on the subject. It’s great that these kids these days have the Internet to use for their researching, it sure beats having to get to the library and spend so much time digging through numerous books and magazines for their needed information. Wish we had that opportunity back in my days of schooling.

Most women are concerned with the way that they look but they also want to make sure that they are as comfortable as possible. That is why it is important for you to consider the clothing that you are wearing, both what is a visible on the outside and what is not typically seen by others (Source: Lula Lu 34a bras) . Many women who are petite tend to feel as if they are not able to find a bra size that is going to be right for them. Men are such strange creatures. Of all the gifts that I poured my heart and soul into purchasing for my boyfriend, not that I showered him with a lot of presents this year, but there was certainly no shortage of gifts under the tree this morning, he seemed thrilled the most with the tarps that I bought for him! I’m totally serious, his face lit up like the Christmas tree when he opened the box that contained three tarps. One clear tarp, one canvas tarp and one silver tarp that I had purchased online because I knew he had expressed his concern on the condition of his current tarps that are all beat and torn up. He has a touch of O.C.D. and certain things (like battered tarps on his nice equipment) can drive him right up the wall.

My favorite gift that he gave me was a book of poetry “Images of Love” put out by Victoria’s Secret (I didn’t even know that they sold books) a collection of some wonderful poems with beautiful illustrations by various poets, old and new. I noticed that it says Volume II on the cover. I’m going to keep my eyes open for Volume I, maybe I can find it online, since there are no brick and mortar book stores anywhere around here anymore. The closest one is almost two hours away. Breaks my heart to see so many book stores closing down all due to the Internet.

Superheros have always had a good following. Superman, Batman and Spiderman are still going strong these days and people are still wearing t shirts with these TV Show and Movie Related superheros a plenty. I have been looking for some new T shirts to wear, as I have put on a few pounds over the past couple of months and most of the ones that I have in my drawer are old, faded and a bit too tight. I don’t like wearing tight clothing, so I have been looking around online for some new ones to sport.
