I understand that a good amount of our US Army soldiers that are over in Afghanistan are spending some of their down time online playing games like Spades. I think that it is wonderful that they are able to be connected to the World Wide Web and are allowed to be entertained this way. Too bad that the Internet wasn’t available back in the Vietnam War days.

I’m sure there were playing cards available to them back then, but having the Internet at your disposal for card games such as Spades these days is a wonderful alternative that I’m glad that they have for their use. Spades has always been one of my favorite card games to play, but it isn’t always easy to find other people to play with. We are all so busy these days, trying to find the time that is convenient for several people isn’t always an easy task. So utilizing the Internet for these types of card games makes a lot of sense and I say “Go For It!”

I really do like that we are seeing more and more public restroom hand dryers being installed in the rest rooms of America all across the country. These high tech airblade hand dryers can really help reduce the spread of germs, while giving us a pretty good quick fix for the drying of our freshly washed hands. These electric hand dryers may be using our precious electricity, but it is helping in numerous other positive ways and I constantly urge more places to purchase one or more and have them installed in their restrooms in businesses country wide. I also bring to their attention for the need to provide a simple antimicrobial handles to hang a purse or coat is a must for heaven’s sake. Their is nothing worse than the thought of having to place my purse on the dirty, nasty floor right next to the toilet, when a simply hook would allow us to not only hang our purse, but our jacket, a diaper bag and all the other things that woman are known to tote around with them on a daily basis.

My boyfriend Bo and I have always thought that we would love to open up our own bar/restaurant and possible lodging for the good folks that ride two wheels. The bikers of the area are frequently finding themselves in need of a new decent place to meet and great, have a great time, good booze, good music, good food and even a place to crash for the night so the need to ride the bike back home won’t be so prevalent. The numbers of people that are buying and riding motorcycles have gone through the roof this past decade, plus some and most of them are decent hard working, good hearted people that don’t want to be hassled bye “the man” Getting in a wreck or getting a ticket and possible jail time is a real buzz kill!

We are always looking online at numerous websites that we educate ourselves in and compare the information and then discussing them with each other . Like the other night Bo came across a site that sells various Hotel Bar Supplies. Honestly I hadn’t even considered a lot of that aspect of the business, so this was an eye opener into the Hotel Supply industry and all the things that you possibly think of to use in any type of hospitality business.

Who knows, maybe one day our dream will come true and we might need to turn to somewhere like the Georgia Hotel Supplies Online website that we have bookmarked and put in our ever growing “dream job” folder. As the old saying goes – It Takes Money To Make Money and right now money is tighter than ever for most people that I know with the economy still in such crisis.

It wasn’t even a year ago when I went with my sister Lyn to various banks looking for a business loan. What a pain in the rear that whole process was. If it wasn’t one thing it was another and when we finally found the one that she ended up actually applying with I had had enough of the suit and tie crowd and the smell of money all around me that I couldn’t get my little hands on!
